Ambitious Sauvignon blanc from the highest vineyards in Hustopeče in Czech Republic with unique sandy soil. Roman Fabig is not following the trends but giving all his love and passion to create wines with long term quality. Sustainability, dedication, minimalism are the flagships of his vineyard.
TASTING NOTES
Giving the continental climate in Czech Republic with warm summers and cold winters the grapes acquire a fresh acidity and balanced sugar content.
The color is pale lemon and typical aromas for sauvignon blanc with gooseberry, lemon, orange peel and stone.
On the Palate you have a lightly mineral taste and pleasantly fruity sensations of lemon and gooseberry. Medium bodied wine which is suitable for a lunch or dinner, but also can be enjoyed as stay alone on a pleasant afternoon.
Long finish makes the wine perfectly balanced.
The wine can be enjoyed now although what is very special about Fabig wines, with Age they get even better due to the high acidity and the high quality and carefully picked grapes.
